Reflections on a year past

Happy New Year, 2012!

There is much I'm greatful for and much that I look forward to experiencing.
2011 was a year of growing and letting go. What a life I have been blessed with.

I turned 50 in January and I looked forward to it and embraced it with full excitement. I was blessed to share it with family and friends. I welcomed my second grandbaby and met a newly added grandson who lived with his mother for the last 11 years. He is my daugther's step-son. I lost my grandmother shortly after she celebrated her 93rd birthday.  She left me a legacy of living life without judgement. I lost my job due to the economy and gained the best job ever, being full time Grammee to my granddaughters. I've started to build a Gifts by Grammee business and hope to build a Coaching business called T.H.E.O, to help empower others.

Much of what I have learned from this life is that it's all improv and loving is about forgiveness. When life presents something you didn't plan on then how you handle it is more about who you are, more than what you do.  I've experienced so much that I could have just let it eat me up and make me hate my life away. Another thing I've learned is, "Life is all about choices." In each moment of everyday we make choices, with each choice there is a natural outcome that we must live with if we make that choice.  Sometimes we don't see it as us making that choice, or we don't choose to see it.

If we choose to accept our choices and their outcomes, the better we get at learning how to make better choices, or live with those choices. Some of what I have learned is much like everyone else, THE HARD WAY.  This is called growing pains.
